6 Year Old Girl Raped In UP, Battling With Her Life.
Uttar Pradesh : Recently, an incident of brutal sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl in Delhi took place, and now, a similar incident has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur district.
A six-year-old girl was playing outside of her house and was allegedly kidnapped from Garh Mukhteshwar area, less than 100 km from Delhi, reportedly by a man on a motorcycle. Her parents reported police as they cannot find their child. Police immediately started investigating.
The girl child was found next morning unconscious and soaked in blood, behind bushes not far from her village.
Immediately, she was taken to Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College in Meerut. A medical examination confirmed she was raped. The girl has been through at least one surgery.
Doctors said that she is stable but not out of danger. “She will need treatment for a long duration, we may need to perform more surgeries”. The brutal sexual assault left her private parts significantly damaged. Her entire body has abrasions. Doctors have performed surgery for saving her life. “A separate tube has been surgically placed to ensure disposal of faecal matter”. She is currently battling for her life.
The police say they have not been able to record the statement of the girl because of her condition. The police have released three sketches are based on the statements of the girl’s parents and neighbors, and these could be of the same person.
Hapur Superintendent of Police Sarvesh Mishra said that witnesses told the investigating officials that minor rape survivor didn’t offer any resistance while being lured by the suspect. This suggests that the suspects could be known to the child or her family. The accused’s name is still not known, but the police said he had kidnapped the girl on a bike, raped her and then left her in a grievous condition in a field.
The police are searching for the accused throughout Hapur district, especially at its borders, to see he does not escape. The rape victim’s family has filed a case against “an unknown person”, but the police are not ruling out the possibility of the accused being known to them.
